<p><span>Amy relates impactful elements clients respond to, &ldquo;Musically, I love to play the song &lsquo;Washing Machine&rsquo; by Amy Lavere on one of our two channel systems.&nbsp; Really cool different song than what you hear on the radio.&nbsp; The audio engineering and production is stellar and sets a very good sound stage.&nbsp; Ms. Lavere&rsquo;s vocal delivery is very entertaining.&nbsp; Played on a great system with amazing speakers, this song really makes an impact.&rdquo;</span></p>
<p><span>Visually, Amy O&rsquo;Deay definitely has a method to her magic.&nbsp; &ldquo;It&rsquo;s about creating a perfectly customized space. If someone wants a unique space in their home that resonates with a wow factor, I can do that.&nbsp; My goal is to make AV and home automation dreams a reality.&rdquo;</span></p>

Stone Glidden and Cinamatech theater design create mind blowing sight and sound

<p>Our recently redesigned showroom theater at Stone Glidden is dropping jaws.&nbsp; When we set out to create an experiential theater in our King of Prussia showroom we opted to partner with the premier theater design firm in the US &hellip;&nbsp;<a href="http://www.mycinematech.com/" target="_blank">Cinematech</a>.</p>
<p>Based in Dallas, Texas, Cinematech designs fabricates and installs acoustically correct theater spaces designed to provide the perfect environment for home cinema, complete with the finest home cinema seating available.</p>
<p>Cinematech worked with us to redesign an older theater space at our KOP showroom into a state of the art cinema, beautifully appointed with stretch fabric wall coverings, concealed acoustic treatments, tiered seating, and a fiber optic ceiling, all optimized to provide a perfect environment for a state of the art theater system&nbsp;we installed.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>For all of you propeller heads out there, here&rsquo;s how we designed and assembled mind blowing sight and sound.</p>
<p>Our first decision was to use groundbreaking technology that would produce breathtaking sound quality.&nbsp; We found that with&nbsp;<a href="https://www.dolby.com/us/en/brands/dolby-atmos.html" target="_blank">Dolby Atmos</a>.&nbsp; Dolby Atmos goes beyond traditional surround sound.&nbsp; By increasing the number of speakers, accurately selecting their locations, and selecting equipment capable of processing Dolby Atmos, we can deliver a powerfully moving entertainment experience.&nbsp; Rather than being constrained to channels, sounds are precisely placed in three-dimensional space. That is to say, rather than just moving sound from speaker to speaker, Dolby Atmos can utilize a combination of speakers to place and move sound from one area of the room to another.&nbsp; The result is a very real, life-like audio experience.</p>
<p>We chose a combination of Revel speakers to deliver unforgettable sound through thirteen speakers, including four ceiling speakers and two subwoofers. Time and time again we find Revel to outpace much of the competition.&nbsp; The upfront array is comprised of Revel Gem2 speakers, very clean and crisp sounding loud-speakers that maintain high integrity even at increased volumes.</p>
<p>The sound is driven by a combination of an AudioControl Savoy G3 seven channel amplifier and an Integra DRX-R1 A/V Receiver. The Savoy G3 delivers pristine audio performance and the DRX-R1 combines accurate, noise-free signal processing with high-current power for dynamic speaker control. The result is pure, rich and authentic sound.</p>
<p>The entire room is Acoustically Treated by Cinematech.&nbsp; Sound diffusers and sound absorption panels surround the entire room creating a rich, full sound devoid of echo. The Cinematech Star ceiling features fiber optic lighting embedded into fiberglass panels to enhance overhead sound.</p>
<p>Luxurious seating is also furnished by Cinematech.&nbsp; High quality electric motorized ACT I Valentino chairs make it exceptionally easy to watch the creatively backlit&nbsp;<a href="http://www.screeninnovations.com/materials/black-diamond/" target="_blank">Screen Innovations Black Diamond</a>&nbsp;screen. The 114&rdquo; Black Diamond screen is the world&rsquo;s first ambient light rejecting screen.&nbsp; The theater does not need to be pitch dark to enjoy, the Black Diamond is brilliant in a fully lit room.&nbsp; It is truly amazing.</p>
<p>All of the entertainment content is delivered in 4k via one of three delivery systems.&nbsp; First,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.tivo.com/" target="_blank">TIVO Bolt Vox</a>, which can search for content across a multitude of platforms including, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon, Vudu, and Plex.&nbsp; Also, a Sony UPB-X800 blu-ray player delivers our 4k content from a traditional disk. However, the most intriguing delivery system we employ is&nbsp;<a href="http://www.kaleidescape.com/" target="_blank">Kaleidescape</a>.</p>
<p>Kaleidescape brings together all of our movies in a stunning library making it beautifully simple to access and enjoy.&nbsp; Even more impressive is the breadth of 4k content available from the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kaleidescape.com/systems/movie-players-servers/#strato" target="_blank">Kaleidescape Store</a>.&nbsp; For playback and storage, we employ a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kaleidescape.com/systems/movie-players-servers/#strato" target="_blank">Kaleidescape Strato</a>&nbsp;4k Ultra HD high-dynamic-range movie player.&nbsp; Strato plays movies in true 4k Ultra HD at up to 60 frames per second and comes with up to 10TB of storage capable of storing up to 180 4k Ultra HD Movies.&nbsp; Strato supports lossless audio formats including Dolby Atmos.&nbsp;</p>
<p>So here is how it goes.&nbsp; You purchase 4k movies from Kaleidescape and you download them to your Strato player.&nbsp; These downloads are from original masters making these movies look even better than blu-ray. The Strato also has an amazing upconverting chip. So even when you purchase standard HD movies they look much closer to 4k than you could imagine.</p>
