- A difference in the quality of light – most LED fixtures have a brighter, bluer color tint than the incandescent lamps we grew up with. Even LED lamps that say they are warmer don’t quite match the old lamps for the quality of color, and they don’t get warmer as you dim, which is what we love about incandescent bulbs
