A basement-remodeling project in a Philadelphia home allowed us to transform a basement storage area into an underground lair for an unabashed Batman fan. Using vintage Batman knick-knacks, some modest lighting control, and a fun color palette, we were able to deliver a cozy retreat that any Batfan would love to call home, earning us NARI’s 2007 COTY Award, for best entertainment space
